My painting style is best described as hyper-realism. Hyper-realism is all about the detail, even more so than photo-realism because you enhance or add items that might not be visible in a photo. For instance, adding a reflection of a person or object in the light of a pet’s eyes.
I enjoy painting pets and I love the challenge of capturing a pet's personality and expression. I also enjoy painting cars, wildlife, landscapes and people. In everything I paint, the secret is in the details.

Painting in kindergarten is one of my most favorite memories, I can still remember how excited I got when I got to put my dads old light blue shirt on backwards with the sleeves rolled up, and paint at the easel.
Painting and drawing has always been my happy place, I get so involved when I paint I lose all track of time.
